AAIFPA is the first insurance and financial professional membership organization in the Asian community nationwide.

The main objectives of AAIFPA are to provide the Asian American insurance and financial professionals with programs in the areas of educational activities, professional networking, and community involvements. We offer a platform to facilitate professional programs through local Chapters, and through affiliate organizations. The goal of AAIFPA is to play a vital role and to contribute to the future of the insurance and financial service industry.

AAIFPA is a nonprofit mutual benefit corporation organized under the California Nonprofit Mutual Benefit Corporation Law, within Section 501(c)(6) of the IRS Code.

AAIFPA 2017 Annual Convention a Great Accomplishment!
AAIFPA hosted its 2017 Annual Convention at Sugar Land Marriott Town Square in Sugarland, Texas on October 21st, 2017. There were more than 500 guests including members, sponsors, local government officials and community leaders in attendance. AAIFPA was honored to have Mr. Chad Tope, President of Voya Financial – Annuities and Individual Life, as our memorable keynote speaker - his stirring speech thoroughly captivated the audience! The Honorable Theresa Chang, Presiding Judge of Harris County, also gave an inspirational speech that brought together all Texans as they work together to transform the city of Houston from Good to Great! The final highlight of the evening was the Hurricane Harvey Relief Check Presentation Ceremony, where AAIFPA presented a check to the Chinese American Relief Effort (C.A.R.E.) to aid those affected by Harvey.

AAIFPA Northwest Chapter was officially established September 23rd, 2016 at Red Lion Hotel Bellevue in Bellevue, Washington! Northwest is the organization’s ninth local chapter in the United States. AAIFPA Orange County & San Diego Chapter was officially established April 30th, 2015 at J.Zhou Oriental Cuisine in Tustin, California! Orange County & San Diego is the organization’s eighth local chapter in the United States. The grand opening ceremony was a resounding success, attracting local media attention and more than 10 AAIFPA lifetime members signed up at the event. AAIFPA 2013 Annual Convention, a Monumental Triumph!


AAIFPA concluded its greatest convention yet in Dallas, Texas on October 19th, 2013! Fort Worth Chapter Established!

On July 13th, 2013, AAIFPA Fort Worth Chapter was formally established as the organization’s seventh local chapter in the United States at the India Palace in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Rajesh Chaudhry will serve as the Chapter President. AAIFPA Northern California Chapter CE Classes

AAIFPA Northern California Chapter offered 5 hour CE classes at the ABC Seafood Restaurant in Foster City, California on June 28th, 2013 sponsored by ACA Life and Kaiser Permanente. Four special guest speakers gave presentations and training sessions throughout the day and attendees were introduced to new market opportunities. The event offered the public a chance to meet with seasoned financial advisors and insurance brokers from the Bay Area.

AAIFPA 2013 MDRT Forum Discussion a Grand Accomplishment!

AAIFPA held its 2nd MDRT Forum Discussion at the Ocean City Seafood Restaurant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 11th, 2013. It was a very positive experience for the attendees as a great deal of helpful information was presented. AAIFPA was honored to have Jennifer A. Borislow, MDRT’s immediate Past President and a 25-year MDRT member, as keynote speaker for the event. Both international and domestic attendees could feel the power and spirit of the MDRT as they discovered new marketing strategies, sales ideas, and furthered their knowledge about doing insurance business with Chinese markets across the globe.

AAIFPA Chicago Chapter Educational Event
The AAIFPA Chicago Chapter held a seminar on Investment and Mortgage Planning on May 18th, 2013 at The Culture Center of TECO in Westmont City, Illinois. We had invited Edward Newman and Joanna Wang to present the topics of Stock Market Outlook and Retirement Planning. More than 50 attendees were introduced to financial planning and social security benefits options.

AAIFPA Chicago Chapter Educational Event

On March 16th, 2013, the AAIFPA Chicago Chapter hosted a Tax and Social Security Seminar at The Culture Center of TECO in Westmont city, Illinois. The main points were about social security, estate planning after the fiscal financial cliff and 2013 tax planning. We were honored to have Mr. Bob Pan, Ms. Susan Kang, Mr. Bob Lin and Ms. Juju Lien as our speakers. There was no doubt that attendees left with priceless information about financial planning.

First Commencement of AAIFPA Northern California of 2013
AAIFPA Northern California Chapter hosted an installation luncheon for their first commencement in 2013 at ABC Seafood Restaurant in Foster City, California on January 18th, 2013. The objective of the luncheon was to create more networking events, seminars and workshops. There were attendees from diverse professional backgrounds. New Chapter President, Reuben K. Chen, was present to discuss his role and introduce the new committee members. The chapter’s Past President, Yanping Dong, and ongoing board members gave special presentations. Topics discussed included membership updates, local and countrywide chapter relations and a reflection of great achievements from 2012.

AAIFPA 2012 Annual Convention was a HUGE Success!

AAIFPA had completed a huge successful convention in Foster City , San Francisco on November 9th, 2012 with 450 sponsors, members, guests, local government officials and community leaders. Mr. Maurice R. Greenberg, Chairman and CEO of C.V. Starr & Co. , Inc. and Chairman and CEO of Starr Insurance Holdings, Inc. made a very charismatic and inspirational keynote speech about "Global Insurance Trends & US-China Bilateral Investment”. California Insurance Commissions Mr. Dave Jones talked about how important insurance protection is for all Californians. We were also honored to have a message from Mr. Gao, Zhansheng, Consulate General of P.R. China in San Francisco . AAIFPA’s 2012 President Haidi Huang, and AAIFPA’s 2013 President Yanping Dong also delivered enthusiastic messages to the audience. The 2012 Annual Convention owes its success to the volunteers who contributed so much to the event.

AAIFPA 2012 Northeast Chapter First Ever Annual Convention was a Complete Success!

AAIFPA’s Northeast Chapter held its first ever annual convention at Mudan Banquet Hall in Flushing, New York on October 25th, 2012. It marked the first time that a local chapter hosted such an event. Although it had limited resources and volunteers, the event was a triumphant milestone. Mr. Solomon Hicks, a fourteen-time TOT member, fifteen-time COT member and a life and qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table was the keynote speaker. His speech was inspirational! There were three producer seminars from America’s top insurance companies. We were delighted to have United Healthcare present “H.S.A to save health insurance premiums”, SafePath Benefits Inc. offered “MJHS: A Lifetime of Care” and ING presented “Indexed Universal Life with Guarantees”. AAIFPA had built a very strong relationship with members, sponsors and the communities through this event.

Based on the 2012 Elections results, the 2013 AAIFPA Board of Directors and Officers have been finalized! Congratulations to Ms. Yanping Dong for being elected as the new President! Ms. Haidi Huang will serve as the Chair of the Board. Ms. Wen Ling Antoine is the new VP in Health. Mr. Robert Jin is the new VP in Life. Mr. Ronny Liu is the new VP in P&C. Dallas Chapter Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Was a Big Success

On Aug 25, 2012, AAIFPA's Dallas Chapter held its grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony in Richardson, Texas. A reception and press conference with the media was a big success! Approximately 150 guests assembled and celebrated the ribbon cutting ceremony. Bob Townsend, Mayor of Richardson; Suzan Chen, President of AAIFPA - Dallas Chapter; Michael Bi, Chairman of AAIFPA – Dallas Chapter; and Haidi Huang, President of National Organization – AAIFPA delivered their welcome remarks.

AAIFPA 2012 MDRT Forum Discussion was held at San Gabriel Hilton Hotel, Ballroom C, located at 25 West Valley Boulevard, San Gabriel, California, 91776 on Monday, June 11 2012. The event was a huge success. Many U.S. domestic and local MDRT professionals, along with MDRT members from all over the world including China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada, and other Asian countries joined together on that night to share their experiences and sales ideas. This event was a great opportunity for every attendee to connect and talk about the similar vision and goals they share in the insurance and financial services industry.

Northern California Year End Mixer 2011
The Northern California Chapter of the Asian American Insurance & Financial Professional Association (AAIFPA NCAL) held its year end member mixer event on December 9th, 2011. AAIFPA NCAL provided a 1 unit CE class and a delicious dinner while members and future members were networking. The classes were be on worker’s compensation, and as a health/life insurance agent, how health insurance can be integrated into Workers Comp. It was held at the ABC Seafood Restaurant in Foster City, CA. The successful event was eventful, and shows AAIFPA's dedication and support to its members.

AAIFPA 2011 Annual Convention was a BIG Success!
AAIFPA had completed a huge successful convention in Flushing, New York on October 29, 2011 with almost 500 sponsors, members, guests, local government officials and community leaders. New York State Department of Financial Services Deputy Super Intendant James Wrynn's speech covered a lot of information in the insurance industry. Our executive business partner ING, Ms. Jacqueline A. Robertson, made a very charismatic and inspirational keynote speech about "Leveraging the Difference for A Stronger Tomorrow." AAIFPA President Haidi Huang, Northeast Chapter President Robert Jin, and Chair of the Board Martin Lu also delivered enthusiastic messages to the audience.
